"I'LL MAKE YOU FAMOUS"
50.5" x 38.5"
When William H. Bonney (aka Billy the Kid) said "I'LL MAKE YOU FAMOUS" in the 1990 American Western action film the phrase acquired a new meaning.
Billy the Kid was saying, there is nothing about you that will go down in infamy, but when I shoot you, your death will make you famous because you will be known as one of those that Billy the Kid gunned down.
This painting does not represent Billy the Kid; however it does represent a very capable lawman who looks more than capable of making you famous. The intense stare, the readiness, the poised posture all embodies one who is sure of the task in front of him and is capable of handling the situation solo if need be. In the gaze of this lawman, one finds the potential to turn any adversary into an enduring part of Western history: a legend in their own right.
