eppermint Canyon is a dreamlike passage, reminiscent of the whimsical world painted in the old folk song Big Rock Candy Mountain. Here, the canyon walls glow in shades of peppermint, bathed beneath an electric blue sky as evening settles in and the moon begins its rise. The rider, her face unseen, becomes an invitation for you to step into this serene landscape and make it your own.
My purpose in creating Peppermint Canyon was to offer more than a painting—it is a work of art that allows the viewer to pause, to find clarity in past or future decisions, and to step into a world untouched by harshness or ugliness. Instead, this canyon is a sanctuary of color and calm, offering respite from the weight of the world and guiding the spirit toward reflection, clarity, and quiet joy.
